What makes a perfume last longer?
Base materials such as woods, amber, musk, resins and some sweet notes often remain noticeable longer than very light citrus openings. Eau de Parfum can feel richer than lighter formats, but a well-built formula matters more than a label alone.
Projection and longevity are different
A perfume can last close to the skin for hours without projecting strongly. Another fragrance may project intensely early and then settle. Decide whether you want a noticeable scent trail, long skin presence, or a balance of both.
How to improve wear time
Apply to clean, moisturized skin and avoid excessive rubbing after spraying. Store bottles away from heat and direct sunlight. In Egypt’s warm weather, start with a controlled number of sprays and adjust after seeing how the fragrance develops.
